YOUNG TO JESUS
GEN Z FOR JESUS

Who We Are
We are a movement that serves the purpose of uniting young people from different denominations to encounter the presence of GOD. We believe that our generation shall be saved and it begins with seeking his face as young people. We come together with the aim of corporately contending for revival by creating an atmosphere for his manifest Glory to come.
The Founder of Young To Jesus
Bukho Miti
Bukho Miti 21 years of age accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour at the tender age of 7. Bukho grew up in a Christian home with a missionary for a mother and a prayerful father. The vision took root in her heart in the year 2017 after an impactful youth camp that changed her life. She waited for direction from God for the right time to begin the movement. In 2018 at the age of 15, God called her into ministry.
She spent the bulk of her High School serving in what is known as the School Christian Association (SCA) where she saw the hand of God upon her ministry. In her second year of bible school, she held the first Young To Jesus event on the 28th of October 2023. Bukho has such a passion to see her generation get saved and come to the realisation that Jesus is the only way.

Testimonies and Comments
This is what the Young To Jesus family has to say about the movement, the impact, the events and everything Y2J is about.
I think what I love most about Young to Jesus is how it unites people from different backgrounds, different churches and different denominations.
It just doesn't matter who you are or where you've come from you are invited there. Because of this on the first night the place was packed with many young people from different places and I found myself in that mix where I realized my gift to blend in with different kinds of groups.
I experienced something beautiful when I saw black people with their background mixing along with white people and their background and we could just be who we are with each other which is something so many people in the world failed to do. Unity is just so rare in our nation.
You will find people divided because of race because of culture because of different nationalities. Being present that night on our first gathering of young to Jesus I saw that when it comes to being in the presence of God background has no power to stop the unity that can be found in Christ.
Thando Hlophe
When I was invited to be part of the first Y2J event, it came as opportunity for me to do what I mostly love to do, that is, leading worship with a community of people who love the presence of Jesus. When I saw the poster of the first event I just knew I will be part of this even if it's to sit back and enjoy the fellowship and ministry.
What I love about this ministry is that, it makes room for young people to experience something that they really ache for, and that is the Lord. And it's young people from different denominations and backgrounds which is just beautiful.
